We would need more details about you to know if it is right or not. But that doesn't seem like a lot of calories, so certainly could be right, but again with no details about you at all its impossible to say.

Age, height, weight, type of daytime activity, and intended exercise would all be needed for us to say anything about that calorie number.

For me, no it's not too much.
For you, no clue. I know nothing about you so I can't even guess.

I lost my first 16 pounds at 1,550 without exercise. Without your stats we can't really say for sure.

You could go anywhere from 1500-1800 and still be good. Maybe even more. Everyone is different.

Did you use TDEE method to get that amount?

37, female 263, 5' 4" is BMR of 1863 (that's basically what you need if you were bedridden) multiply by 1.2 for activity level 2235 TDEE, so if you eat 1580 a day that's a deficit of 656 a day (times 7 days = 4596) dived that by a pound (3500 calories) you would theoretically lose 1.3 pounds a week. Up the exercise a couple hundred calories a day and you are an easy 2 pound a week drop. Best of luck to you!

I know this is an old post now, but just to give the idea some support...

I'm 5'4 and started at almost the same weight. I lost 70 lbs on ~1500 calories a day. Only the most recent 15 pounds have required me to dip lower.
