Waaaaaah!!

I sort of knew I shouldn't do it, but this box of mints looked so delicious. Only a little box. So last night I ate them all and this morning I'm a pound and half heavier than last night!

How can that be? The box itself when full wasn't more than a couple of ounces!! Food can't make you put on more weight than it even weighs, can it??

How come the laws of physics is different in my bathroom than in everywhere else?

Thin Mints are a carb bomb; your body has to hang onto water to store carbs as glycogen. Water is heavy, so your weight goes up a bunch. It will be gone in a day or two.

Were they Thin Mints or just mints?

Either way....forget it. Body weight fluctuates, as Liz said.

They were Junior Mints. They were talking to me. They said "there are mints here! There are nice tasty mints here!" They wouldn't shut up till I ate them.

    Thanks everyone. Specially Evileen.

It takes 3500 calories extra to make a pound. So you didn't add pounds of fat overnight.

There are only three reasons to go to the movie theater. 1. The movie itself. 2. Buttered popcorn. 3. JUNIOR MINTS!!!! mmmmmmmmmm

Junior mints are heaven! So I couldn't blame you.

    But no, that is impossible.

The first question you need to ask yourself is, "why was I compelled to eat that?" My answer is usually because I couldn't resist. This takes discipline. That being said, you didn't gain a pound and a half from that. Like everyone says, your weight will fluctuate. Put it behind you and move forward.
