How to change weekly goal?

Hi everyone! Newbie here, be gentle...
I joined MFP more because I wanted to keep tabs on what I was eating than to lose any significant amount of weight - the scales have been creeping up a little, and I was curious to see if I was eating more in a day than I thought I was.
When I entered my weight loss goals etc, I put 3lb, which will get me down to my usual weight. I also put that I wanted to do it pretty slowly, as it wasn't so much a priority. So I was quite surprised when MFP put me on a 1,200 calorie daily limit - and then told me that within 5 weeks, I'd lose 5lb. (Which is over my goal!)
Is there any way to adjust it? I find the site really useful (and fascinating) in terms of monitoring how many times I keep helping myself to handfuls of cashew nuts and crackers (my personal weaknesses, lol) but I don't really want to lose 5lb, as this will mean I'd be 8st 5 - which for a 5ft 6 gal probably is getting on the skinny side. I just wanted to shed a tiny bit really, plus develop more awareness of what I was eating.
If there is, can someone let me know how to do it? Many thanks!

There is no way to adjust the five-week projection. It is just a mathematical algorithm that is used to provide an estimate of what you would weigh in 35 days if every day were exactly the same, which it probably won't be (it's about as accurate as your daily horoscope). When you have reached your goal weight, just stop clicking on the Complete This Entry button, or just ignore it.
