Malteasers!!!

I joined MFP about a month ago, after putting on the 17lbs i lost at xmas time, This time i am determined to do it and shift the pounds having over a 100 to lose. Ive put 100lb to my goal weight, yet that will still leave me at 200lbs so I'll set a new goal when i get to 200lb!

When i started my last diet and lost the 17lb, i was trying to eat healthy and go to the gym, but used the gym as an excuse to eat more. My attitude was "oh well, ive been to gym for an hour, lets pig out" time and time again.:mad:

Well i think something must have changed this tme round. Im logging calories on here (never counted calories before - no wonder im this size!:noway: ), bought a HRM (Polar FT4 - Love it:heart: ), counting calories out, exercising more (been biking riding twice with the family - and never ever done this with my daughter and she is 4!!!), and jst generally moving more.

Well as today is weigh day my boyf bought me a packet of malteasers from the store, didnt want to eat all of them as i shared with my daughter, and to log them on here ive counted them individually.

For me this is a turning point - to actually consider and count what i am putting in my mouth. it makes me think that i can actually do this, this time round. :happy:

Ok, I have only lost 11lb so far, but in my eyes thats only 89lb to goal, no longer 100lb !!!

    Sounds like you're ready and committed for this lifestyle change. That's fantastic! You can do it!

    Maybe sweetly let your boyf know that you love to receive gifts but no more food gifts. Especially foods that you're trying to stay away from. I've had to do that with my family too.
