I want to start buying these to make healthy pancakes and waffles but not sure where the best place is so get them at a good price. Does anyone have any tips?

Flaxmeal, chia, and flaxseeds are at walmart.
In a corner, accross from spices and next to flour and cornmeal in my store.
Top shelf along with all other healthy stuff I can't reach.
I think I also saw them in the pharmacy section. Not sure, you can ask.
Look for quinoa and barley also. Top shelf by the boxed rices.0 -
I'm on the UK so no Walmart0

Walmart is Asda over here. Any of the big supermarkets sell flaxseed but I get the buckwheat and chia seeds at either whole foods or Holland & Barrett.0 -
Be careful with flax seed. Introduce it slowly into your diet to give your body time to adjust to it. Otherwise, you may be facing a lot of intestinal discomfort.0

You should be able to find at health food store...quite possibly at a larger local grocery like Tesco or Sainsbury. There are Cosco around as well.0

I never expected it but - ALDI! I just chia & saw flaxseed there. Not sure about buckwheat, but I also wasn't looking for it.
Otherwise try Amazon if no grocers in your area. Amazon has everything. And delivers everywhere.0 -
Oops. Meant to say "I just GOT chia there..."0

I second amazon.com and the usually go for pretty affordable prices.0

I find flax seeds at tesco by the gluten free stuff0

What is wrong with, you know, actual pancakes?0

Thanks everyone0

They're starting to be available everywhere now but I first got it at Bulk Barn (Canadian store, but maybe there's a bulk food wholesaler around you somewhere?). The prices are still the best there, chia seeds especially can be expensive.0

My local grocery store has them in the bulk section. Sooooo much cheaper than the health food store.0

Flaxseed = Holland and Barrett or Amazon (latter option is cheaper)
Buckwheat & chia = Tesco or Sainsbury's if you are buying a small amount, but for buying bulk again Amazon is best (it's like 1/4 the price!)
