i went on a 3.5 mile march with an army buddy of mine who is getting me in shape for military life... that is so hard you think loading up a backpack with 60 pounds of weight is not as bad as running because your breathing doesnt get eratic... not true this is the most i have ever sweat and i had refilled my camel back twice i looked like i had jumped in a pool we were supposed to do 5 but both of us were exhausted its fun tho in an interesting way i like it

I did my own little personal challenge a few months ago. To cover 30 miles in 7 days on the mountain trails behind my house, carrying 40-85 pounds (increased weight as the week progressed).

It IS VERY humbling, and teaches you a lot about willpower. Climbing mountains with that weight is brutal, no two ways about it!
