Meal prepping

Beginner here! I am doing excellent in the gym, I lift heavy and do some cardio 5 days a week. Of course diet gets me. I don't think I have the mindset to meal prep for breakfast lunch and dinner...would it be beneficial to meal prep all your lunches for a week? It just seems so boring to have the same thing every day for every meal...? Any advice, more importantly simple meal prep recipes? I'm looking to lose weight.

I personally don't meal prep because it seems boring eating the same thing everyday but it helps me to stay on track when I plan my lunches and dinners for the week. Or at least have whatever groceries I will need so I'm not spontaneously going for junkier food or eating everything.
It helps me to have a plan in mind.

Once or every two weeks, I will prep meat. Let's say fish, chicken, ground Turkey patties, and thin pork loin and I marinate them and put them into individual plastic bags and then throw them all in a freezer bag. This way every afternoon when I get home I take two different items out and put them out to thaw and so later while i'm cooking dinner I make them both. That way I'm good for dinner and tomorrow's lunch. After dinner I prep a salad to take with it or veggies (whatever you want for lunch).

But for me it works to do all of that while you are making dinner and cleaning during dishes so in the morning you aren't caught empty handed running late for work and settling for a bad choice at the drive thru.
