Hello

Anyone that has a Fitbit can you tell me how they work please and what they actually count? Is it just your steps or do they monitor your whole days activety and tell you what you've burnt in total at the end of each day? Even if you've been quite sedative that day? I've tried reading up on them but still unsure.

Thanks

Depends which one you buy. They have differing features.

Off the top of my head my Charge HR does.... Steps, calories burned, distance, heart rate, stairs, active minutes, sleep, exercise (both auto and manually logged) and sleep.

I have a Fitbit Charge and it counts my steps, calories burned, distance, also provides me the time. It does not track heart rate, but that wasn't an essential for me. It also gives me phone call notifications! Which is pretty awesome! Edited to add active minutes almost forgot about it. It also tells me
If I reached my target caloric burn for the day it vibrates!

    I have a zip .
I don't like wearing anything on my wrist.
It does steps / distance / syncs with mfp cals eaten / cals burnt 24hrs/ active minutes and is really discreet
