I've tried the 30 day shred a couple of times but never really get past round one. After day 3 , my muscles are really sore and i find it hard to carry on. Maybe i'm just weak and should push myself more , i always seem to give up! What i want to know is , 30 day shred really worth the effort? Does it get results? If so , i'm starting tomorrow and i'm going to push through and be a shredder!!!

There are a few topics on here about the 30DS some fellow members have posted results which you can search for. I am currently on my 8th day and was very sore for the first few you have to push through it, the soreness goes after about 4-5 days. I can't say how much 30DS has made me lose as I am doing other things as well but things are definitely getting tighter. Hope this helps :)

I'm on day 5 of level 1. I can't tell you how many times I started it and gave up after 2 days. My problem was that I was doing it every other day and because there was too much time in between workouts, I dreaded it so much that I just gave up.

This time around I've been going every day with it. And honestly, I can do push ups no problem now and my endurance is sooo much better even after just 5 days. I am still sweating buckets, but I am starting to enjoy it. I know that Jillian's voice gets really old after a few days, so I just mute her and blast my own workout mix. I haven't done any measurements or weigh-ins since I started, but I can at least tell you that I am definitely getting stronger!

Any good exercise program done consistently will yield results. You just need to find one that you enjoy doing.

I'm working my way up, slowly increasing my daily work-out minutes, probably to 45 minutes before I attempt it, in the hope my body'll cope.

I started out w/ 30 ds-I was very sore the 1st week actually and out of breath then things got better. I went through 10 days lev 1 then only 7 w/ lev 2 then 11 with lev 3. I definetely got more toned from it.

Search for the "ultimate before and after 30 day shred thread" topic.

When I first started I only did the 30DS every other day for the first few work outs. Now I'm able to do it every day and am able to do some of the more advanced versions of the moves. It's still a work out but my endurance and strength is definitely getting better!

In that case, after day two take a day or two for rest. Active rest, though. Stay busy walking, or light jogging, or gator wrestling. Anything active that you enjoy. Then re-start where you left off.

i have seen people on here that have gotten great results...I got to day 2 of level 2, but personally i don't think it was for me. maybe it is because i am so out of shape but i thought it was boring and hard at the same time. i dreaded doing it and when i did do it i couldn't even keep up with it or do all of the moves. I recently got into Self- Bikini Ready Fast with Ellen Barrett that is on instant for Netflix, but i'm sure you could order it online somewhere if you don't have Netflix. i feel it's kind of like 30DS and it makes me sweat but it's more doable for me, plus it's not boring and she changes the moves up and they are even fun to do. It mixes cardio (not too intense) and strength training. I love it and i actually look forward to doing it! you will just have to find out if it's for you because everyone is different. i say if you aren't completely out of shape and enjoy a pretty good challenge but don't get bored too easily then go for it.

I made it through level 1 and half of level 2, and I felt like it wasn't making a difference.
My weight loss seemed to slow since I started it, so I stopped and went back to my normal routine.
And the pounds are coming off quicker again.
I personally didn't like it, but I'll probably still do it occasionally when I don't have time to get to the gym.

I'm glad you posted this, because I had that on my instant que but couldn't decide if I actually wanted to take the time to try it or not.
    Thanks!

Yes it hurts after day 3 and then your body adjusts. I am on level 2 day 6 and my body isnt hurting as it did and i am seeing results, not much on the scale for me but inches are melting away. I have started the couch to 5k because the workout is actually getting easier for me. and i never used to exercise could not do any form of cardio with out "dying" before i started this 5 weeks ago. I will tell you that my boods are shrinking which isnt cool but so is the rest of me andmy arms are starting to show definition. I cant wait to finsih the 30 days to see my results.
Oh for me the best part of this workout is that it is only 20 minutes and you burn a lot of calories for that time. 200 or so. :) I try to get it over with in the morning and the rest of the day i dont have to worry about a workout, whatever i do is extra.

A couple months ago I started the 30DS and quit, gave up.
I hate quiting anything, so June 1st I started it again.
I am currently on day 9 of level 2.
I am definately seeing great results, especially in my stomach
area and my arms and legs are getting more toned up.
I would say stick with it and push through,
the end results are well worth it.
Level 1 is a little hard, however level 2 really makes me sweat tons.
I am guessing that a sure sign that its a great workout.

    I highly recommend it.
I got mine from netflix but I like it so much that I think I will purchase
my own that way even when the 30 days are up I will be able to do it every
other day to stay toned up.

Another good thing about this workout is that you do 30 seconds of different exercises for 20 minute. i love this because when you feel like you cant go on she switches it up and you work on a different muscle group and you are not in feeling the burn anymore, those muscles will get to rest for at least 30 seconds while others are being worked on.
