Day 2: Blow out

Yesterday was a disaster. But, I watched something on TV last night & it said not to feel guilty, otherwise it'll make you feel like comfort eating for feeling like crap. So today is day 3 & I'll get back on the band wagon & get back to monitoring my intake & do some exercise :)

    Hi

It's good you been open about it means your very conscious now about doing this. I understand the first few days/week is the most difficult hurdle. Once you get passed that it gets easier.

My advice give yourself one day a week I suggest Saturday to have a cheat day and back on it Sunday-Saturday

    Good luck
  • It takes a while to get into the swing of things and get comfortable with how this all works. Don't be too hard on yourself at first.

Guilt is only going to get in the way of your goals. You will make mistakes and have blow outs, but you can always right the ship. The sooner the better. Every time you shake off the guilt and get back to your plan, you're strengthening your resolve. And that's a good thing!

Log it and move on. :)
  • This is commonly my biggest setback, I'll fall off track even if it was just a momentary bad decision and then the guilt kicks in and my brain says "well, you've already screwed up... " and usually leads to more bad eating choices. I'm really trying to fight myself when my brain decides to convince me to throw the towel in.
I am on day 4 ... yesterday i did have 2 things i shouldn't of had in the evening. But I am not thinking about it because the guilt kicks in and the nasty cycle begins. JUST KEEP GOING!... This is what i have to tell myself every morning this time.
Best of luck to you... and JUST KEEP GOING! :)
