Hi! I'm new to gym and weight loss in an organized fashion. I'm a retired attorney, have lupus, and 40 pounds that I have to get gone. Trying to start at 1600 calories a day--is that sensible/realistic? Or will I need to cut back further? Please say hello, and let's be friends!
