Zumba

Is it good for weight loss and toning? Debating between Zumba and some sort of dance video?

    I think zumba is great for toning your legs. I have huge calves and when I do it consistently they look very toned and sexy. I have also lost 35 pounds doing zumba everyday for an hour took about 7-8 months. I relapsed after I got pregnant but started again this past week. Good luck on your journey!!

    As the other poster said, your calves can and will get toned. If you hold light weights, it can also help tone your arms. I previously lost about 10-12 lbs in a month doing zumba as my only form of exercise.
    There are lots of zumba and "zumba" (would call them more dance than true zumba) routines you can find on youtube. Just see what you like best!

    The best way to lose weight and get toned is to eat at a calorie deficit and start a lifting program.
    Zumba will burn calories (and if you like to dance it's A LOT of fun so you'll continue to do it) and will allow you to eat a little bit more but that's about it.
