This place is all you need. Get a food scale at target or walmart if you don't have one yet.
I opened my diary and people told me to get more lean protein and fiber. Good people.

Log your food and exercise I'm MFP and Google information on a Mediterranean diet. Eat healthy and exercise. Walking and biking are cheaper than taking a car.

Put your numbers into MFP to lose 1-1.5 lbs a week. Weigh all your food in grams on a digital food scale, enter the food using most accurate to label or USDA verified entries. If you exercise above and beyond your usual activity level, record that as exercise and eat back about 1/2 of those calories burned by exercise.

I am 42 years old soon to be 43 UGH. I am really serious about getting "healthy" I started walking 2 days ago and never thought it could hurt so bad! I walked 2 miles the first day and a mile yesterday. I have muscle issues in my neck so it is hard for me to walk outside when it is cold. I have been measuring all of my portions and honestly I have found it is hard to reach my 1200 calorie limit a day. My question for everyone or anyone is what do you do for exercise when you can't walk in the cold? There is a place here I go to walk inside Monday thru Friday but nothing on the weekends. I have a hard time keeping myself motivated and could use some help.

YouTube videos. Try Jessicasmithtv - lots of variety and range of difficulty, and great for small spaces. Also, hey, it's free! And you don't have to leave the house!
