Supplements on airplanes (Canada)

Heya guys and gals...
My partner and I are taking a trip within Canada in a few weeks and I was wondering about bringing supplements along with us. Everything I see when I try to research it refers to prescription and "essential non-prescription" (which they categorize as OTC things like painkillers and cold medication); conversely, they're not listed in "prohibited items". I'm sure the information is there, but I'm kinda TLDR about spending hours looking for it when I'm sure that some people here have a quick and easy answer.
Common sense would be that travelling within a country, it shouldn't be a problem as long as it's in its original package and identifiable for what it is, but obviously CATSA doesn't always operate by common sense.
I've been off my supplement routine for a few weeks already, so a few more until we get back shouldn't really make a difference until I get back, but I would like to get back on it sooner than later.

Some supplements are banned in Canada. Way back when, I ordered something from Hammer Nutrition and had it confiscated at the border when it was shipped because it contained a banned substance. I forget what the substance was ... just one of the ingredients in Sustained Energy or something.0

What kind of supplements are you talking about? If it's something you buy in Canada legally there should be no problem with traveling within the country with it. It wouldn't even occur to me to be concerned about, I travel with my multivitamins and protein powder all the time.0

Just stuff that you can buy at GNC type places and everything I have can be bought locally and legitimately.
I just wanna make sure. I could just buy protein bars wherever I go, so that's not a necessary thing for me to bring, but if I do restart my routine before then, I wanna make sure my partner and I aren't gonna get $100-200 worth of stuff confiscated.0 -
If it's protein powder I wouldn't risk it. If you're talking a few multi vitamin gummies or Tylenol, no ones going to care. If you have a baggie of white powder there might be a problem, lol. You can always call the airlines and double check though.0

I remember when Aleve was banned in Canada!! I have travelled a lot, and in my humble experience, you wont go wrong with original packaging included. Relax and enjoy your trip!!0
