Grr. I do one day well & then I ruin it the next day. I've been doing this for about 2 weeks. I hate it. I have friends who bring or buy snacks or meals to share & it's all unhealthy junk food. They know that I'm trying to lose weight but they still bring those foods to share. What do I do?

Either don't eat it or work a little into your calories

I think that's exactly right. It's truly possible to say, "Thanks, but I don't believe I'll have any right now." It's also possible to look up whatever it is, figure out what a little taste of it will cost in calories, log it, and include it in your budget.

There's always going to be much more food available at your fingertips than you can safely eat. This is always going to be about learning ways to put yourself in charge of how much of all that abundance you choose to take into your body. "Out of sight, out of mind" works OK when you're alone and in complete control of the space you live in, but it's not a helpful overall strategy, and certainly not long-term. Knowing you can eat at least a little of every kind of food there is, though, is a strategy that works forever, as long as you acknowledge the calories in it and take responsibility for fitting it into your daily budget.

Take your own good and snacks. When they offer theirs say no thank you I have something. People will try to get us to eat unhealthy because they eat that way. People can be discouraging hang in there you can do it. Your a strong person you will over come it.

    Simple, don't eat it.
