This is my first day back to my old life style of eating healthy. I've fallen off majorly over the last 2 years. I've gained over 50 pounds. It's my first day of counting calories. It's not even noon yet and I already feel like I'm struggling. Any advice?!?

Think positive thoughts!!!! Drink water when you feel an urge to eat something. Read a book, take a walk inside or outside! Don't give up tomorrow will be here before you know it!!!

    Welcome back!
I've just recently returned to the fold myself so here are some things that have helped me...

While you return to the habit of making healthier choices fall back on your favorite healthy meals. Then clean out those kitchen cabinets of the bad for you tempting morsels and peruse the recipe section of the community forums! I've found some really yummy calorie busters on there!! Once I have found a recipe I really like I add it to my Recipe tab to make it easier to log. Remember that usually fresh or "eaten as grown" is lower calorie than anything processed (as well as portable). Also, cut yourself a break and don't make TOO many drastic changes at once. That is a sure way to end up depressed and struggling.

Welcome back! I've just recently come back too. One thing that I'm finding is helping me is to plan my day around fruits, veggies and lean proteins, and then add in some carbs to fill up the remaining calories. I definitely notice that I am less hungry and have less struggle on the days full of veggies and fruit.
