Vitamix vs juicer

Hello, I have been considering purchasing a vitamix or a nice juicer. I know the vitamix is really pricy so that's why I am asking for ur input! I think I am leaning towards the vitamix because it is easier to clean and I think w that in mind I would use it more.

I currently have a ninja single serve which is great, however it does not chop stuff like greens as fine as I would like.

Any pointers or experience in using one of these would be appreciated!!

I have a vitamix and I love it - I also have a juicer and I can say I don't really use it that much. I love making my own green juices but I I don't stick with it because you need insane amounts of produce to make any substantial amount of juice (which gets expensive). So I would say get yourself a vitamix and you can use it for soo many other things. I make smoothies with greens and they are great.. I have yet to throw something at this blender that it cant handle.

Well, when you put stuff in the Vitamix, you get to keep the fiber. That isn't the case with all juicers. The Vitamix is super-easy to clean and you can use it for more than just smoothies/drinks. I use mine for soups, salsa, sauces, plant milks, flours (oat flour), frozen cocktails . . . you can make all kinds of stuff.

I have a Vitamix and Breville Juice Fountain Elite and love them both. If I had to choose just one, I'd go with the Vitamix as technically it can juice as well, however, in my first hand experience not as well as the Breville. Yet, my Breville cannot do all the other things that my Vitamix can do. Hope that helps.

Vitamix, vitamix, vitamix! It's amazing what this machine can do. I still watch the demos on QVC and learn something new each time. It will last forever and is totally worth the investment.

They aren't the same thing. If you want a good blender, get the vitamix. If you want a juicer, get a juicer.

I love my vitamix. I make whole food smoothies every day for breakfast. It even makes seeds smooth.

Pucker up and buy the vitamix....it will last many many years and you can use it for more than making smoothies and juice (with all the pulp/nutrients/fiber). I regularly use mine to make all natural PB.
