It's going to be a long journey, but in the last 3 weeks I've managed to lose 1 and a half stone... Feel like I'm more motivated then in the past. Not sure how to keep myself focused, I lose track easily. Looking to make friends on here to help me. If anyone's looking to chat Id love to. Think I will fill out the blog section, I'm a writer so I may even be able to turn out something worth reading!

PS: NICE TO MEET YOU ALL!

Hi, that's quite a goal you've got there, congratulations on the weight loss so far.
I hope you get the help and advice you're after on here. The only advice I can give (you've probably heard it before but I myself have difficulty sticking with things when they become mundane) is to set yourself little goals and change things up regularly. The little goals help with the motivation because you're reaching them quicker and that feeling of success is never too far away. Changing up what you're doing stops the boredom; if you're constantly eating chicken and rice or copious amounts of salad then things get pretty boring pretty fast. I myself like a few smoothies, I'll change between fruit smoothies (unfortunately, they're high in natural but still) and vegetable smoothies (they don't taste as gross as they usually look) and then I'll have chicken salads or some fish recipes (there are lots of good recipes on the MFP app).
Hopefully I haven't bored you too much but I've tried a lot of different methods and this is the way that works for me. Just make sure what you're eating is giving you the right nutrients.
