32, working mom of an almost 2 year old... finally making ME time! Feel free to add!0
-
I'm hoping that you will add me as a friend too! I'm also a mom of a 14 month old baby boy who is the love of my life but keeps me on the run! And stress and being tired end up making want to eat junk food. I am 36 years old and I work full time outside the home. My long term goal is to lose 20 pounds, and my very short term goal is to focus on the first 5 pounds because I tend to get overwhelmed easily. I also use the Garmin Vivo Smart! Anyone can add me...the more support and motivation the better!0

I'm 31 and have two boys, 2 and 5. I was down to 133 but hurt my knee a couple of weeks ago and had surgery (meniscus tear) a little over a week ago, so currently I'm maintaining (and just getting back to tracking today after a hiatus). Being on crutches with small children has been a challenge... I have one more surgery to go (ACL repair) and am looking forward to getting back in action. Ultimately my goal is 120ish.
I did see comments earlier about weighing food, which is something I do, so FYI if that's not your thing I really don't care if other people do it or not, though.0 -
I'm adding y'all, too!
Stalk my diary all you want. You will see what you see. I don't keep secrets, but I'm not trying to impress anyone, either. My diary is just the honest day-to-day of this mom of 7.
I don't currently weigh my food. I don't feel strongly either way about it. I'm pretty good at eyeballing amounts (comes from growing up in the restaurant biz) and I've been successful losing weight that way. If I start to stall, I'll consider getting a scale.
My point is this: I'm looking for mom friends who are encouraging and want to be encouraged. I'm not into mom-bashing, guilt-tripping, or reprimanding other moms. I don't have the time or inclination to deal with that mess!!
I'm NOT looking only for moms who are just like me. What fun is there in that??0 -

I agree with all of that! A better and more blunt way to phrase my diary stalking is this: I don't keep people that starve themselves on my friends list. I don't believe in it and it is a trigger for me as someone who went down that road as a teenager. If someone is eating 1200 calories a day, working out and complaining about lack of energy or feeling poorly then I would likely offer an opinion. I feel like people should know that before they add me.
I don't weigh my food either. Never have, though I do think a food scale is a useful and fun tool. I guess I've gotten pretty good at eyeballing, too. I'd imagine being in the food business helped you for sure!!
Moms that support other moms? Sign me up! We are all different and we should be. I've not met someone yet that I didn't learn something from if I tried.

Word. Let's be friends!
I'll keep you in mind for when I'm ready to get back into purposeful exercise. Likely after our homeschooling year is over. I have 6 doing school and it takes most of my days! Right now, nursing my 8-mo, practicing baseball with my two boys, practicing soccer with my 4 girls, and just generally keeping up with a large household are all the activity I have the time for!0 -
Feel free to add me as well! I just became a stay at home to a one year old. It's a struggle to set aside workout time!0

How do you add someone?0

Working mom to 2 here! Working on shedding 40 lbs this year. Added OP, but please feel free to add me too! I also use a fit bit and love doing daily/weekly challenges0

Hello I'm a mom of 2 with a goal of losing 123 lbs and finding my self this year. Feel free to add me!0

If anyone is currently stalking my diary. Please do not consider me purposefully starving myself. I have been on the sofa with the flu for a week. It is awful and I am hungry (just can't keep it down) Check back a while ago and you will see more realistic diary entries.
I feel for anyone out there suffering with the flu and children with the flu. Sometimes I don't know how us moms really cope (I have two sick kids cannot imagine seven .)

We all had it last year. I'm so sorry. It was horrible and lingered for weeks. Right at Christmas. Get better!!!

Mom of 2 (13 month boy and 3 yr old girl). Both came by c-section and then found out half my thyroid needed to be removed in December. So three surgeries in three years. The thyroid issue encouraged me to get my diet and life style back on track. Since mid-November I went from 162 to 148. I spend a fair amount of time on the weekend doing food prep and am obsessed with my crock pot.0

Hi ladies!!

After 14 months I've barely lost any baby wt so that's why im here0 -
Hi! I'm 34, have three kids from 8-13. I work full time and am enjoying being a single parent. I've been on mfp after a bit of a wake up call last summer when I realized how my shape (of my body and fitness level) was interfering with the fun my kids can have. I have always been overweight, and I had never really been all that motivated to deal with it. On the one hand, I never wanted my daughters to see me sweat over a scale or societal perceptions of beauty. On the other hand, I probably shouldn't eat all my feelings, either. They give me heartburn!
I'm around 40 lbs into the endeavor and still have a ways to go. I'll know when I get there. It isn't about a number for me - it's about chasing my son up a sand dune and not wanting to throw up. It would be nice to get to let him win instead of honestly losing!
Hit me up!0 -
Hey Everyone! I'm a first time mom; my son was born in November. Feel free to add me. I have 25lbs to lose and am looking for support from other mamas.0

Mom to a 2 year old here! Looking for friends as well. I've lost 60 pounds over the last two years and am currently working on building muscle, so I count to make sure I eat enough to reach my goal for lifting. Would love to meet/friend some like minded ladies at any point in their journey. Add me, please!0

Hi,
I'm sahm mom of 6 ages 9-2(including twins 2yerolds). I'm the heaviest I been and need to lose 60 lb so I have long way to go but I can do it. Add me if you like.0 -
Feel free to add me - any of you mommas!
I'm a stay at home mommy to my 9 month old and my three step kids. I log everything, every day except water but am Currently bfing as well so I don't weigh my foods at all. I just measure or guess mostly (don't want to get too crazy with weighing and mess up my supply) and have been losing steadily for 6 months. I literally do not restrict anything from my diet - just stay within my calories for the day so you'll see everything from salad to cupcakes. I work out five days a week in my living room and horse back ride one day a week. 12 more lbs to my original goal weight, but who knows if I'll stop there!0 -
Please, add me as well! I'm a 29 year old mom of 2 boys. Ages 6 and 17 months. I'm working on a major weight loss plan! I need more mom friends. Lol0
