I can jog for long periods of time but only if I have a good playlist with me :) I like progressive/ dance/ electronic. For those who also need music to work out - what are some of your favorite songs / genres? What sites do you go to find new music?

My favourite music that always makes me run faster is the Ultimate NRG megamixes by Alex K, there is about 6 of them.

Eric Clapman strings together a bunch of remixes into 1-2 hr tracks which I quite like for long runs.

Forget making a playlist, just grab a copy of A State Of Trance ASOT 747 (Special Who's Afraid Of 138!)

I listen to more so progressive trance, but for running holy crap...

My own running mix currently has
    CAZZETTE - Beam Me Up
Adventure Club vs DallasK - Crash 2.0
Kenze vs. MAKJ - On & On
    Manufactured Superstars - Great Escape
    Andrew Bayer - England

    etc... etc..

Faded... I love that song, but would fall asleep during a run lol
Zhu - Stay Closer would be a better choice ;)

    Reminds me
    Gorgon City - Elevate

This is a bit embarrassing to admit, but I LOVE Nightcore music for pepping me up for a run or exercise. It's a subgenre of trance and is usually characterized by a sped-up melody and is often higher than normal pitch. It's not for everyone. But I'm throwing it out there anyway.
Also note, the video I linked is just one example, there are many. Pandora has a good Nightcore station I put on for runs.

Do you have soundcloud? You can listen to different DJ podcast, or search by festivals and listen to a recorded set. I think festival sets are usually better, all the banger tracks are incorporated in them.
