HRM and calorie goal question

I have the polar FT4 with chest strap. I was curious to see if anyone has ever used their HRM all day to see how many calories they actually burned on a normal non-exercise day to determine how many calories they should eat to lose weight,
It was just a thought, idk if it's silly lol, but thought I'd throw it out there since computer generated calculations online may not be so accurate though can give us an idea about how much calories to eat to lose weight. Let me know your thoughts! hehe

The HRM is not accurate to determine your non-exercise calories. You will get an inflated number.
And yes, other people have thought of it. But it doesn't work.
