    I did a 5K in the rain on Saturday morning, jogged the first 1/2 with a good friend and then I had to walk. She jogged the whole thing! (I am so proud of her) Anyway, I was hoping for under 35 for my 35th (yesterday) Completed it in 35:53.

    OK, I'll bite.

    I raced in the Close To The Coast 5k in Freeport, ME Saturday. I've been training my 5k times around 41-42 minutes, so I raced to to complete, rather than to compete. I was pretty fired up about my first race and was influenced a bit by the people around me so I ran the race in 32:48, way ahead of my plan.

    I ran Grandmas Marathon in Duluth, MN on Sat. It is an amzing experience. It did kick my butt though. My goal was 4:30 and I finished at 4:54. Not a great time at all, but I FINISHED!!!!
