    Some say go by thirst, but personally - if I do that, I tend to go through my day only having a glass or two of water, and then suddenly by late afternoon or early evening I feel totally parched. Then I start sucking down all the water I can get, and I'm up several times during the night because I have to pee! :blush:

    So I don't go by thirst, i go by what I know I need, and pee color.

    The only reason I've had that much liquid is when I'm trying to pass a kidney stone...and I live in the desert.
