What are your random hobbies?

So what do you do to keep yourself from stuffing your face? What's your random hobby besides working out?? Personally I crochet and sometimes make balloon animals...and occasionally combine the two. Let's see what you can do! :happy:

    i garden, make wine & homemade soap, and am currently studying to become a registered aromatherapist. keeps me busy enough! :)

    I ghost hunt with my paranormal team or with friends. I have to watch myself though because a lot of time these investigations are overnights and everyone ends up eating a TON of junk food to stay awake.

    Gambling is probably my #1 hobby per se other than working out. LOL I will gamble on just about anything, too. :laugh:

    Photography is my main hobby. i've never been to school for it, and dont really plan to. its just something I do and study in my free time. My other hobbies are painting, writing, and making a feeble attempt to sew.

    I do machine embroidering & appliquing & sew (mainly mending) and I love to bake!

    I do word search, puzzles, read, and got a new hobbie, sewing. I do anything as long as I keep my hands busy and out of the kitchen.

    I crochet. Blankets, hats, headbands, baby stuff. My main thing is wacky hats for kids that are monsters, animals, or pretty florals, and they are unique you cant buy them in a store, people order them from me all the time. it would be a great business but it takes time to make them so it isnt a great profit margin but i enjoy it. I also paint with acrylics and oils, and i draw, and graphic art, and photo restoration and manipulation AND photography, i just dont have a professional camera or i would probably be a photographer.

    I'm with you which is why I could never live in Vegas. Hell, just this past weekend I spent over 10 hours at the casino.

    Other hobbies of mine include participating in an array of sports, restoring old furniture, doing crossword puzzles/Sudoku, engaging in e-debates on college football sites, and drawing(even though I'm not very good). I'm thinking about learning French or Portuguese using Rosetta Stone in the coming months.

    For the gamblers: I hope you're winning at least some back!

    Photographers, crafters: :heart: it...photography is something I take up every now and then too and crafting has become such a part of me!

    Aromatherapist: Your hobbies are so cool! We have a bunch of wineries in the area and I always found the process interesting!

    Paranormal researcher: Sooo awesome...keep it up! I'm from around Gettysburg and have friends doing just what you do! Found anything yet??

    I can vouch for Beaukitty's crocheting skills! :} She makes fun, quirky animals that I just love.

    I drum in my spare time (hand drumming on djembes, and sometimes bongos), although I haven't had time in a while. It takes you to a whole 'nother place!!

    I love doing word puzzles. I buy the variety puzzle books and go to the bathroom and work them. Sometmes I'll be in there so long working puzzles, my son will knock on the door and ask me what I'm doing in there. :laugh:

    I bake. *gasp* :noway: I know. It sounds awful. But I dont eat any of it. No really! Spend 10 hours decorating a cake and tell me if you ever want to look at cake or frosting again. I do custom cookies, cupcakes, and cakes as part of my side business. I also plan parties and small social events. As well as craft, garden, take photos, and scrapbook.

    I like makin stuff. I built a worktable, a bed, wired some LEDs for lighting in my coat closet, and I want to construct a storage bench. I have no idea how to do upholstery but I think I'd like to upholster the bench. When I'm working on stuff and in the zone, I sometimes forget to eat altogether. Then I feel really REALLY hungry later...

    i read, play with my kids, bit of photography, painting/drawing recently started drawing celtic knots/patterns like i used to do at college many years ago, oh and cleaing lol:laugh:

    I paint nails...I trained as a nail tech but due to ill health I cannot work with the chemicals but love painting tiny miniatures on nails.
