Hello! I am just getting started. I have been contemplating a few different methods of weight loss for a few weeks and was put off by everything from the price, to the supplements some require, to the fact that I didn't think I would be able to find anything I would eat on some other diets. I was really hoping for a too that I can use on my phone to log food and so I am really excited about finding this website.
I have a lot of very bad habits including drinking lots of soda, lots of unhealthy snacks, lots of convenience food that is bad for you. I admit that I eat to entertain myself. After a hard day, I feel justified that I deserve a meal I know is completely unhealthy because I worked hard all day and deserve it. If I am bored, I tend to eat because it's something interesting to do. I don't eat for health. During my pregnancy this was a mindset I perfected and four months after the birth I am still utlizing that permission that I gave myself.
I have a lot of aspirations. I am an aspiring vegan. I am an aspiring runner. I would love to have energy and self control. I really want to be comfortable in my skin, to eat according to my ideals and to run a half (and eventually a whole) marathon. Mostly though, I aspire to be a good example to my daughter. She is four months old and my husband and I plan to raise her vegan and I want her to have a respect for herself, her health and body. I know none of that is going to happen until I get myself under control and become the kind of role model she will need in the future.
