i don't know why it's so hard for me now to stick to a goal or get up and exercise. before, when i had more weight to lose, i did it gradually and eventually met my goal (a process that took 2 years). but then after becoming more lenient and over indulging, i gained some weight back in the past few months, while also ditching exercise..
so now i have 10-15 pounds to lose but i keep putting it off, meanwhile i'm ever so slowly putting on weight. i want to stay motivated but it's hard when i have no one to talk to or encourage me to workout or stick to calorie goal. i've done it before but this go around i too easily give up and am struggling with depression still, so that doesn't help. i just need some pals i feel like, to motivate me.

Or if you are getting the enough calories maybe the source of your calories are not good, such as high in fat from meat and diary products. Feel free to add me and hope this helped
i don't eat red meat and stray from dairy. i do eat salmon or chicken a few times a week. i don't think my calorie goal is too restrictive, i just think between my slowing metabolism and being bored i overeat. plus we go out to eat a lot and i'll be like "whatever, i'll restart tomorrow" so it's not like i'm even hungry! just eating to eat. which is annoying lol. i don't really have a high fat diet most of the time, and i already know about how much calories i should consume to lose weight. since i'm only 5 feet tall my goal is different than most. thanks for the reply, adding you

1. If you're eating when you're not hungry it could be emotional eating. Maybe you can try looking to other things that help you to feel happy/relieve stress, etc.
2. When I go to restaurants I look at the menu online so I can choose a healthier option and not be tempted at the restaurant. It's sooo much better than staring at the menu and discussing all the yummy high calorie options. You can also try asking for a take out box with your food. Put half away before you start eating.
3. Try to make a reasonable deadline for yourself. That might help you to stop putting weight loss off.
4. Feel free to add me!0 -
Hi, I completely understand where you're coming from. Motivation is what I lack as well, so you're not alone. Definitely will eat when bored and say I'll work it off later...but never do. Or get super motivated for a couple days then stop. But after trying this app 2 years ago and slacking off, it caught up with me, and I'm ready to be happier with myself and healthier and it sounds like you are too. Just remember baby steps are still steps, every little diet change or little switches here and there count. We can do it!0

unfortunately i know all the tips and tricks to follow, it's just.. i'm not following them! it's like.. i can't be bothered with it. like i've lost all motivation which sucks.. also i've noticed that when i want to be included in whatever gathering it is, i will nibble on the food present like everyone else is, thinking i'll deal with the repercussion of it later. and then i just keep doing that, rinse & repeat! i need something to respark. i know once i got going, i could do it again. i'm just looking for some additional support right now. thanks!0 -

exactly!!!!! i'm so bad about the "i'll work it off later" and never do which irritates me so much about myself. i'm truly just being lazy! i wish i had a physical workout buddy to join me on jogs or something, but it's kinda scary these days trying to meet random people off the internet lol..
i'm hoping i can do it! i want to be happy with myself like i was last year around this time!0 -
Couldn't have said it better myself. We've got plenty of time and we want it, we just gotta really make it happen this time around. For real lol, no more BS. We got this!0
