Same as I've done at any other time in my life: by eating fewer calories than I burn.

I would guess the same way you always do: eat less food.

I'm in that stage and haven't noticed that it's made any difference. I'm in better shape now than I ever was.

I'm 36 and I definitely have noticed a huge difference in how hard it is for me to lose weight. I've been exercising and eating well for almost two months and my weight hasn't budged. I wasn't sure if it is the hormonal birth control that I use for my endometriosis or if my metabolism is slowing down.
Good luck with your journey. It's a lot easier when you notice results, but being healthy is the right choice :)

I am in perimenopause, and I lost 48 lbs. So, you can do it!

What makes it harder for me is not my age, but that my lifestyle is not naturally active, and so I have to work at being active. I also have less muscle now than I did 30 years ago.
