Hi MFP,

When I log all my foods at the end of the day in my MFP food diary and tap at the bottom where it says Complete Entry, how accurate is the estimation weight you will achieve for five weeks on your weight loss goal. Why does MFP mentions 'actual results my vary'. What do they mean. What are the factors behind the theory of it.

Thank you

If your calories are particularly low one day or you are inaccurate or you don't log exercise accurately or your activity level isn't accurate, all those can play into how accurate the 5 week estimation is.

If your calorie goal is set appropriately (correct information and activity level) and your exercise is accurate then the estimation might be pretty close.

If you eat the exact same thing and do the exact same exercise as today, every single day for 5 weeks and your food logging and exercise calories are perfect, then the prediction is probably accurate.
