New to myfitnesspal

I'm well on my way to reaching my goal of losing 50 lbs by the time I turn 50 (Jan. 2017). I have lost 20 lbs since November mainly by making changes to my diet and eating habits, but I usually hit a slump after the first 20, so I am hoping using this site will keep me motivated and encouraged. Hope I can encourage someone else as well.

    I turn 50 in Dec. This year...I have more than 50 but I too am hoping to have a bit less of me to move into the next " decade" lol

    I also just joined. I, like you, have lost about 20 lbs (started in October before my 40th in November) through diet and hit a slump. Three days in and already seeing numbers moving again. I would be glad to help you out....I know I sure could use it too. :)
