I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on some inconspicuous office exercises. See I work in an office and I don’t have much opportunity to get up and move and I can’t do something as obvious as wall pushups or squats like some of the suggestions that I’ve found online said. So any ideas? Preferably something to lose this stupid fat stomach of mine!:grumble:

I am in a similar situation.

I work behind a desk all day and most days I do not have the opportunity to get away from my desk for very long.

I have not found any desk bound exercise that helps loose weight. For me weight loss is coming from watching my calories and my evening cardio oriented workouts.

During the day I try and make a point of getting up every hour or so and stretching a little. A couple of forward bends and reaching to the sky along with a little hip wiggle to shake the feeling of sitting too long out.

    Good luck!

good posture!! sit up straight and tighten or "zip up" your abdominal muscles while you work. also, get up and walk to stretch every hour or so, if able. go get a drink of water, make a lap or hand deliver a message instead of emailing. can you walk on your lunch break? be creative :) good luck!

I replaced my office chair with a core ball. :) It took a few days of switching back and forth between the two, but now I sit on it all day, every day. And boy does it activate your core! I don't log it as extra calories burned since I do it every day, but I can feel a difference when I use it vs. when I don't.
