Good luck! And welcome to MFP.0

I had gestational diabetes during pregnancies and was told this was a precursor for later in life. I'll be damned if that's the case -- since I'm in control of food intake and exercise. MFP is a lifestyle change I intend to carry into geezerhood with the intent of avoiding diabetes type 2.0

Well done. I also developed diabetes 2 6years ago. Went from insulin to Metformin meds and now 40kgs lighter off all diabetes meds.
It's amazing losing weight and controlling what you eat can change your whole lifestyle.
So happy for you.0 -
Hi, I developed diabetes type 2 8 years ago, took around 5 medications, now taking nothing and controlling it via sport and good food, if i can do it you can do it. MFP is helping a lot in this0
