Motivation

I hate exercising. I lose motivation very easily. The only time I kept up on it was when I was in basic and for about a year afterwards. Do you think Crossfit would be a good option for someone like me and my mentality? Any advice?

No to Crossfit.
Except it might work if you made friends there and feel pressured to keep going.
But the only way I have succeeded is by finding a workout program (stronglifts/starting strength) that I enjoyed (because the results are almost immediate) and getting into a habit. Motivation is only good for a short time. You change your life by forming a new neuroses in your mind, an of obsession like people who constantly wash their hands. You have to get the point where every other day it feels almost painful to ditch the gym.

Thanks! I haven't found what I like to do yet I guess. I thought Crossfit might work for that reason. Meet some friends and feel that pressure to push it. The first class is free to see if you like it so I signed up for tomorrow morning. Can't hurt to try.0
