Do you adjust FB Flex stride when you don't wear on wrist?

Hi! I have had a FitBit Flex for several months now, and I wear it on my wrist. I was thinking of occasionally wearing it on my bra or in a pocket, but I know some people say they don't get good readings that way. I was wondering, since the Flex figures steps using your input of height and stride length, would changing the stride length give you a better reading when wearing it against your chest or in a pocket? Does anyone do this? Thoughts?
Thanks for you input!

I just ordered bra clip to wear with my flex and got delivered today. I try but it's not reading so I wondered if I clip it wrong way.
I will let you know if I find the way. I usually push stroller so my flex is not reading when on my wrist.
