golfing and calories

I am an avid golfer and play at least twice a week. According to the data base, golfing with a riding cart, for 18 holoes (approximately 4 hours) you burn around 1300 cals. My daily allotment of cals is only 1730. Does anyone have a comment on this, it it close. Does that mean I can eat more than my 1730 cals on the days I play golf. (if so it may give me an excuse to play more..yea)

Dont trust MFP. Their calories are messed up a lot of the time and really high...0

I personally would get a heart rate monitor and monitor the whole time you are at the golf course....
Seems a little high.0 -
Number seems high especially with a cart. I would wear a HRM while golfing to determine how many calories are actual burned during a round.0

Thanks for the web site, their number are a little more realistic.0
