I just want to eat everything!!

I've just got my results back for my maths exam and I haven't done well at all ... I feel like crap and I just want to go to the shop buy all the sweets I can because at this time I feel like *kitten* .

I really don't want to do this.. How do you guys stop yourself from eating junk when your in a bad place ?

    Sorry to hear that you're having a tough time. For me, I don't keep junk in my house. If it's not easily accessible, I can't eat it.

    Get out and move a lot. Walking, running, biking, hit the gym, whatever option you have available. Then if you still want something you have at least earned more calories towards it.

    I find exercise, even moderate effort, helps a lot when I'm stressed or depressed.

    I exercise. The happy hormones I now get from cardio work much better then any relief I ever got from food.

    You just have to try and think rationally and decide what's more important. All the sweets, or your weight loss goals?

    Sorry about your tests. Trust me, in 10 years, when you have a good job none of this will matter. Try and work past it. Tomorrow is another day!

    find a hobby that you can pour yourself into when you're feeling down. Another thing I love to do is watch or lookup funny things on youtube or tumblr to help me feel better. Also remind yourself that if you pass up those sweets in the store, you're also saving money! (aside from saving your tummy)

    I do the same as Ashory. Plus I keep my fave non binge foods around, like frozen strawberries and unsugared greek yougurt, oranges and my own baked whole wheat bread, so of the urge to overeat comes on, at least I have damag control foods on hand! Also, I'm starting a journal, so when the urge to eat everything comes on, I write why, what that feels like and what I'm thinking. I'm trying to get some insight on the spiritual/mental problems I have that lead me to use food as my god and comfort place. I figure dealing with my probs might be safer for me than just eating them away.
    Honestly, getting bad exam results would probly end in something sweet and carby for me Elizabeth.
    Take a walk mabe, that works often.
    Can you retake the exam?

    I unfortunately seem to get happy neurotransmitters from making technical corrections such as endorphins are neuropeptides, technically not considered hormones.

    Is eating something going to improve your math mark? I think not. But is maintaining your self control over what you consume going to make you feel better about yourself? I think so.
