Hey guys!

I'm trying to get together a great high beat playlist on my mp3 player for walking/jogging. What's your favorite music and/or playlists?

So far my playlist consists of Switch from Will Smith, and well... that's it. LOL

I have said it before, but my favorite song now is "Dragula".....song #2 on my list...ya know...get my a** in gear!!! LOL
  • I have a lot of popular music like upbeat Lady Gaga music and then I have some angrier music like "I hate everything about you" and it motivates. :]

Mine pretty much consists of anything I can dance to or sing to. Haha, I definitely sing while running it helps keep my mind off of how hard it is! :]

I like to listen to Eminem, Nicki Minaj, and Lil Wayne. The faster the beat, the faster I run.

I listen to a range of music consisting of hip-hop (kanye, tinnie tempah) to rock (jack johnson, jason mraz). Haha I'm 18 so you're likings are probably different from mine.

    I just re-did my running playlist with some of the following artists that really keep me moving;
Nickelback, Black Eyed Peas, Scooter (song is Fire), Bodyrockers (song is Round and Round), Florence and The Machine and some Kesha to mention a few. "Fire" really comes in handy if doing sprints. Hope this helps.
  • These are totally different ends of the spectrum, but they're all on my playlist.. Metallica, Bon Jovi and Ke$ha always get me going.

Loose Yourself by Eminem, Hot and Cold by Kate Perry, Pour Some Sugar on Me by Def Leppard, and Bye, Bye, Bye by N'Sync get my butt moving. Best of luck with your workouts :)

When I work out, I tend to go for mixes already made with the right BPMs to keep me moving. If you have an ipod or can get podcasts I would suggest the following mixes to really get you going:

    Workout Music (dot com)-- http://www.powermusic.us/podcasts/WorkoutMusic.xml
    Motion Traxx-- http://www.motiontraxx.com/episodes/motiontraxx.xml
    Groovelectric-- http://www.djsteveboy.com/audio/groovelectric.xml
    Podrunner: Workout Music-- http://podrunner.wm.wizzard.tv/rss
c25kplaylists (dot com)-- http://www.c25kplaylists.com/12301.html (great mixes for non- c25k as well)
  • I have said it before, but my favorite song now is "Dragula".....song #2 on my list...ya know...get my a** in gear!!! LOL

Cannot go wrong with Rob Zombie... He is definately on my playlist... I have such a wide range... I go from Rock, Country, Rap, and Disco... I let my Ipod shuffle... some music really pumps me up and then a few song laters... I might slow down... then speed up again when the song calls for it...

I like the idea of music that has a BPM built into it to keep you on track. I haven't tried that route, though.

I'm listening to a lot of my own mixes of R&B/Gospel right now. Somehow it's just _right_ as I'm running to have this asynchronous music running through my head - keeps me from thinking about what I'm doing.
