New life changes & a new fitness plan.. Help?!

My name is Kayla. I'm 25, and I've recently made a LOT of life changes.. Within the past 4 months, I've quit smoking cigarettes (after almost 10 years), tapered off four different medications, and really buckled down on school. Of course with all these positive changes comes new obstacles.. A little added stress, and a lot of added weight! I gained 20 lbs in the past few months, and am not too happy about it. Stress eating plus lack of exercise hasn't helped, but I want to change that. So I am here to ask for some support and some ideas on the best ways to loose the weight, fast but healthy! I know exercise and a good diet is key. A fitness plan is difficult for me, I really don't know what exercises are best for what I'm trying to achieve! 5'4" 150 lbs, trying to get down to 125 lbs. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

It's all about the calories, get into a deficit and you will be golden. Exercise is for health and well being.

Start by making changes, just like you have in the rest of your life. If you tend to swap one bad habit for another then start slow. Small changes in your diet, move more, focus on all the positive changes you already have made. Then, when those changes have become habit, make some more small changes, move faster or longer or add an activity that is fun. Most of all, remember that you are strong and able to achieve your goals! Good luck & keep us posted!
