Living a lie.
So I know this is completely random, but has this happened to anyone else???? For the longest time I thought that i was 5'5". I have that on my license and generally believed that. I went in for a doc visit not too long ago and when the nurse took my height, she told me I was 5'3". Could I really have been off in my height measuring by two inches all these years??? I feel completely weird saying I am 5'3". Lol.

I've actually gained about 1/2" over the last 5 years. My only explanation is yoga, better core strength and cleaner "spine juice" I guess..... ??? I know I stopped growing 30 years ago.0

It also depends when you were measured. I'm generally 5'5" in the morning and 5'3.75" at night. Seriously an inch a day is very typical. My darling husband is 6'8 in the morning and 6'7" at night.0 -
For years my mother told me we were the same height - 5'4". Then I actually measured myself and found I am actually 5' 5".0

I thought I was 5'7" and that's what's on my driver's license. I just had my height measured recently. Apparently, I grew another 3/4 inch after high school, so I'm really almost 5'8". I've been living a lie for 20 years. BOOM! I feel so tall now.0

My height was measured mid morning. I doesn't make too much of difference either way i was just very surprised by the two inch margin. Lol.0

I grew 2 inches in college. I met my physic AI at a party (I was a senior) and he told me that no one grows in college....he was astonished. I think that I had been undereating for a lot of years. When I was a senior, I ate at the dorm and got better nutrition and the growth spurt happened. Just a hypothesis, though. I am almost 64 inches. I was 62 inches until I was 21-22 years old.
