You enter what you eat into your food diary and try to fit them in the goal mfp gives you. Does all the counting for you.

Take your body weight in lbs. Divide by 2 and drink 1 ounce of water per the divided weight per day. It helps flush the system. When I hit a plateau and am still under the calorie intake, I look at my water. I started a new water drinking app that helps me calculate it and sends me reminders on my phone.0
