Hi from the uk ,I'm tammy and am 33.
I started my weight loss journey January 29th 2015.
When I first weighed myself I was 24 stone and 10 lbs.
To say I was shocked was an understatement.
I straight away cut everything that I used to eat out ,no alcohol, chocolate, junk food and was very strict.
I started to eat healthy and joined a gym where I started swimming, exercise classes, the gym and walking and I loved it.
I lost 7 lbs the first week which spurred me on.
A few months later a friend suggested mfp and I started using it religiously.
My original target weight was to get to 12 stone by new years eve 2015.
I reached my target a week before halloween so I set a new target and then every time a new one. I didn't want to go under 10 stone and yet I'm not 8 stone and 8 lbs and still loosing slowly.
To say I can't believe it is an understatement.
I am in size 6 to 8 clothes now and love it .
There is toning I need to work on and I need to maintain plus I need to up my calories and not feel bad if I eat something that's a bit different and a treat .
But it's all trial and error,I've had to rewire my brain to get this far so I know it will take time
