Not sure how to log my interval running. I also use a fitbit and don't want to log to much for calories burned if it compensates for my steps as well. So take this morning workout for example I walked for 10, then did interval training 1 min walk, 30 sec jog, 1 min sprint repeat x 10, then ended with another 10 min walk. What do I log in for exercise? I ended up logging as 20 min circuit not wanting to over log

I use a garmin vivofit. It sincs automatically with mfp but only the steps for the day. Includes my steps on the treadmill. Interval on the treadmill is just a bonus for me at this stage.

    i have a a fitbit charge hr.

right now im experimenting for a few weeks using it exclusively to see what it does with exercise.

for the past year and a half, ive entered everything manually and deleted any fb adjustments.

ok thanks guys, I have a fitbit flex, so it's the basic version just records steps. So adjusted steps gave me 184 calories burned + my circuit for 20 min was 215 burned. and that was for approx. 45 min of exercise

I have just a regular heart rate monitor. I created my own exercise in the MFP app called "Interval running" and just adjust my calories burned based on what my HRM says at the end of the workout.

I have a fitbit as well and I never manually log exercise for any thing step related- running, waking, etc. I find the fitbit does a good job picking that up on its own.
I only log things like circuit training, weight training, cycle, etc that it doesn't pick up.
