Just wanted to start off a thread sharing products which have helped you curb cravings for a particular thing. So write them up with what they're replacing, I'll start with my favourites;
Frill frozen smoothie
Replacing: ice cream (specifically chocolate)
Why I love it; a ton less sugar and way more fibre than ice cream and even frozen yogurt, it's amazing and about 100kcal for a decent size serve
Xylitol sweetener
Replacing: sugar and other sweeteners
Why I love it: actively good for your teeth, lower kcal than sugar and doesn't have some of the laxative effects you can find with other sweeteners
2kcal per teaspoon
Quorn mince
Replacing: meat mince
Why I love it: you can't tell! Unlike some other meat replacers where it's horrifically obvious, a chilli, bolognese or lasagne made with this stuff is undetectable plus lower fat, calories and no harmful chemicals found in red meat.
Lentil crisps
Replacing: any kind of crunchy snack
Why I love it: These don't try and be another thing and they don't exactly replace anything but as a crunchy snack, regardless of health benefits they're bloody addictive, I love them
I'll post anymore I can think of! What are yours?

The product that I have found that is perfect for my love of chipschipschips - Kelloggs Cracker Chips (found in the cracker aisle). They come in plain, BBQ, Sour cream, salt and vinegar - for 17grams (granted, a small bowlful) it is only 80 calories. Its just enough that I can fit it into every single day if I want, and just that small amount eases the cravings for The Other Stuff!! Right now, I have 5 boxes stashed in the kitchen, as they were recently on sale - oh bliss!!0

I wish I could try that Frozen Frill Smoothie...looks like its only in the UK.
I wonder if i could somehow make a homemade version, with dates, water, cocoa and some kind of fiber....
I found the other day when I was craving something sweet, I sprinkled brown sugar over a banana and I was satisfied...but then I started craving something salty, LOL.
I like to have Quaker Crispy Mini's on hand instead of chips.0 -

When I get home i'll take a look at the ingredients of the frozen smoothie for you! it's so good!vinegar_husbands wrote: »Ground heart in place of ground beef. Just be sure to pick out the blood clots first.
I'm a bit squeemish so that might sound beyond me, maybe my mum could do itamyrebeccah wrote: »Xylitol sweetener

Ugh crisps are THE BEST, always looking for a new alternative I think I tried one of the flavours and didn't like it but I'll look for more.0 -

Stay far away from sugar alcohols if you don't want the laxative effect lol0 -

I was a fan of Arctic Zero but let's be honest, they don't even come close to being as satisfying that being said, have you tried Halo Top? Incredible!!! So satisfying!!!!
I also just replaced my Greek yogurt (already pretty healthy) with Elli quark, more protein and less carbs plus a ton of cool flavors if you can find them in your store
Instead of breads and cookies, THINSLIM FOODS!!!! Unfortunately you can only order them online, but they're so worth it! 50 calories slice of bread and it will sit like a rock in your stomach! You can't overeat them, seriously, I tried! Their brownies, however, aren't as good in my opinion.
Instead of carrot cake, brownies, coffee cakes, muffins, etc: Simply Scrumptous! I love all their desserts, super moist and sweet! It's cheaper to order off their website but you can only get things by the dozen so if you're new I'd suggest trying a few of their stuff off Linda's Diet DeLites' website first (you can also get ThinSlim there).
Also, mushroom caps instead of hamburger buns if you love mushrooms as much as I do, and tzatziki instead of salad dressing with spinach!!
