hi all. Well i was doing really well then i've got my cravings back for bad stuff. Just had a bowl of alpen after steping on wii fit and being told i've gained 2lbs in 2 days!! Hopefully going on holiday late july so need to sort it out before then so i can pig out then

How do you beat your cravings for sweet stuff and especially when your down as i am today...sad times

Im looking to eat about 1350kcal a day.

Thanks:flowerforyou:

Hello! To curb my cravings for sweet things i always have the chocolate or caramel snack-a-jacks in the cupboard, they really help me! Also i'll sometmes have a couple of those Mikado chocolates with a cup of tea, get my chocolate fix while the tea fills me up!

It's sheer will power which is really really hard. The best way for me is to banish all crappy foods from the house, I don't even buy biscuits, crisps or chocolates cause the temptation is then already there and if I REALLY want some chocolate I have to walk to the shop for it.

I'l often try instead a bowl of strawberries with yoghurt, honey and nuts, it still gives you that sweet kick but without all the fat. I'm also a fan of savoury so I'll snack on Ryvita with small puts of low fat soft cheese.

I don't think the bowl of alpen is such a bad thing as long as you are exercising enough. I have a bowl of porridge (oatsosimple) in the morning and eat fairly well during the day but have managed to still stay within the calories (1270). When I crave something sweet I have fruit. I am a chocolate addict so know where you are coming from!
