Staff party tomorrow night, working hard to lose weight and been eating healthy and working out, but I'm not the strongest when it comes to food Temptations. Any advice? I'm not horrible with sweets, it's more on foodsi don't really know rather it's good for me or not. I have no idea what will be there! I've also been ill therefore my workouts have been limited and I haven't been eating much at all. Really new to this and am still learning. Any help appreciated. :-)

This is just a personal opinion and I'm sure some people will disagree but I feel like I'm really trying to have a lifestyle change versus a diet. To me this means allowing myself occasional treats at social gatherings and we also have a cheat day on Sunday. Not a calorie binge fest it usually just consists of a possible dessert and maybe a different dinner than I would normally cook during the week. We've been pretty successful with this and I feel like allowing myself these occasional treats I'm not hating my diet and really beginning to feel like it is a lifestyle change. Just my two cents and I'm definitely no expert. It's just been working well for my family! Good luck!

Eat sensible and in moderation. If you feel the need or want more just say to yourself "it's just food"

Planning around events (upping the cardio and calorie deficit) day before and after, and when faced with your weakness just keep telling yourself DONT RUIN ALL YOUR HARD WORK SO FAR

Enjoy a little indulgence here and there and eat before you go in so you're not totally starving there. I always make bad decisions when feeling ravenous.

thank you guys. I appreciate all your advice. I've never thought of myself as a big eater, but no one wants to admit that right? I have the confidence, but I know my work out has been lacking because of being ill so I worry about over eating and ruining the hard work I've done so far. I can do this though! thank you.

Resisted temptations! I had a nice salad, some cheese(biggest weakness!) and a peice of watermelon. resisted soda(all they had) and all the delicious desserts they had spread out for everyone! wow was tough seeing my clients and co-workers eating chocolate cakes, cheese cakes, and other goodies in front of me, but I feel proud that I was thinking smart for myself! thank you all for your advice again!
