On a serious note...
I just want to be as healthy as possible to keep my body functioning for as long as possible, i dont obsess over my weight other people do i.e. doctors.
I used to be on the go all the time i was 6-7 stone and 5.10, i could eat whatever i wanted and couldnt gain weight .. i ended up in hospital one winter with a severe chest infection and they wouldnt let me out until i was over 8st in weight.. i was still a size 6-8 uk size so i was fine about it.
i had 4 kids within 5 years after that and straight back in a size 8 a day after each. i never used scales back then , just clothing sizes.. i didnt have time for me lol
I started getting pain in my hips , they kept dislocating then my shoulder did to when lifting my kids so i seen a specialist and it was just that i have hyper-extensive joints/double jointed and the hormone released when pregnant to make your pelvice dislocate to give birth had caused a temporary problem and the specialist asked me what weight i was before pregnancy he said i need to get back to 7st to help my joints as my body frame measured very small even though my healthy weight given my height would be 9-12 st.
Now i hurt my back a few years ago and gained a lot of weight being bed bound for such a long time and still eating junk food. by the time i seen a spinal surgeon i was 16st and he said he would have me in for surgery that day if i wasnt obese
i needed to be under 12st.
i immediately tried every diet going but gained and was 18st 3lbs when i found mfp and simply changed to calorie counting and eating healthier food losing 54lb in a few months without exercise, i lost 10inch off my hips and waist and my bust pretty much stay the same but lost 4 inch off my under bust measurements and in a uk size 12 top (stretchy ha)+14 bottom. I got my back fixed up this month and but im still classed as obese and ive lost an inch n height so im 5.9 now
So i do have more to lose from a medical point of view, but at 13st im toned and flat tummy in a size 8- 10 and i think if i lose another stone i will look ill (anorexic people said previously) and ive not even started exercising or gaining muscle yet arh!
So my dilema is what weight should i aim for??
.. 7st as recommended due to my joints?
.. 12st as recomended on uk healthy weight charts?
.. or just what im happy at in clothes size and how i look?
my family and friend recommend i add 2st to a healthy weight for my boobs lol that does not help!
