Need some advice

I joined mfp a few years ago and did great. I exercised most day. I did treadmill every night and Jillian Michaels 30ds. I lost 25ish pounds and a few pant sizes in just a few months time. Well things happened and I stopped logging and exercising and I gradually put the weight back on over the last 3 years. Most of it in the last year. I am ready to make the permanent change and make it stick!! So i rejoined and I have been doing great with calories and eating healthy. I'm never hungry and some days have to make myself eat my goal. Lol. I have lost around 25 pounds total (about 10 since rejoining mfp). My problem? Exercise! I have lost the same amount on the scale but haven't had the same results because I am unable to exercise like last time. While I am happy losing weight, I want to lose inches too. I have tried to exercise lately but because of many issues I just can't. I have cspine issues which cause pain in my neck and both arms. Tspine and l spine issues which cause back and leg pain. Plantar fasciitis in both feet. And elbow, knee and hip pain. I feel like I'm old and falling apart!!!!
What is left to do? I do spend a lot of time on my feet and walking at work but by the time I get home more waliking is out. I have to rely on pain meds just to keep working. I do some outdoor activities on the Saturdays (like walking in the woods) but I generally pay for it Sunday. Which is a shame, because I do enjoy being active!!
Anyway, I would love to hear any ideas for more exercise!! I want to be healthy skinny. Fitness model not runway model skinny :)

Eta-I also feel like I should mention I can't join a gym right now for pool exercise. I just can't afford it at the moment. I do plan on joining as soon as I get some bills paid though!! I know that will benefit me tremendously (in more than just weight loss). But idk in the meantime?:(

    You don't need to work out to lose weight. You just need to eat at a calorie deficit. You also don't need to join a gym to workout.     Just wanted to say that sucks.

    Without understanding your spine issues not really sure what to suggest. A stationary bike you might be able to pick up second hand, that would add some cardio. Yoga/Pilates might also be a good idea to help build up core strength, lots of videos on the internet. I have a sway back and was told that I needed to build up my core strength to help minimize issues. Its a bit of a catch 22, the sway means its quite hard for me to do the floor exercises correctly (back doesnt lay flat and so its easy to do wrong and hurt my back) but not doing them means my back is likely to get worse. But once I get into doing the regularly they become easier to do properly, I just have to be patient to start with.

    Do you have access to a pool? Swimming or water aerobics can do wonders without putting stress on the spine or joints

    I am eating a deficit and losing just fine. I've lost about 25 pounds so far. I'm thrilled about that. Just wanted to do some exercises to add to the calorie deficit. Thank you for the links also! I just can't do typical exercising because of health reasons. Just wanted to say I appreciate you taking the time to reply.

    Thank you so much!! I hadn't even thought about yoga or pilates. With so many different issues it makes it hard. Cycling would kill my knees and I've considered boxing like activities but that would kill my elbows. LOL. I'm only 36 but I feel like a ninety year old. Lol. Thank you for your time and ideas.     I cant right now but as soon as I can afford it I'm going to get a membership at a gym with a pool. I think that would help in so many ways. Thank you for the reply!!

    I apologize for not properly reading your first post. Can you ask your doctor for some exercises that you can do at home?

    You could also check with a few of the gyms in your area and see if it would be cheaper if you wanted pool access only. Or if you can get a few day passes with some coupons or promotions and go once or twice a week until you can afford a membership.

    I think this may be an occasion when talking to your doctor and/or PT would be best. I would hate to point you in a direction that may exacerbate your problems.

    Thats a good idea. They may have a discount on the pool! I love my neuro but unfortunately he is not so helpful in the exercise department. Thank you for the discount idea!!! I will definitely look into it.
