I do minimum 10000 steps everyday at work. Should I select Sedentary or lightly active in MFP settings?

At least light, maybe higher. You're not sedentary if you are walking 5-6 miles every day.

(i). <5000 steps/day may be used as a 'sedentary lifestyle index'; (ii). 5000-7499 steps/day is typical of daily activity excluding sports/exercise and might be considered 'low active'; (iii). 7500-9999 likely includes some volitional activities (and/or elevated occupational activity demands) and might be considered 'somewhat active'; and (iv). >or=10000 steps/day indicates the point that should be used to classify individuals as 'active'. Individuals who take >12500 steps/day are likely to be classified as 'highly active'.
    According to many studies.
I'd say you are either lightly active but that really depends on your job. If you are a teacher, office worker, university student you may be considered lightly active. But if you are a waitress, delivery person, domestic worker, office worker having to move around a lot then you could be considered active.

Does your step tracker sync to MFP? If so, the setting doesn't matter based on steps, because you'll always get the calorie adjustment you need. If you set to lightly active, you'll get more calories to start your day, but it will take more steps before you start earning extra.
