Most of my activity at this time is walking. I don't have a fit bit, only a pedometer. Is there a way to count steps in MFP?

Do you have a cell phone? There are apps you can download that will track you using the GPS on your phone. Try Endomondo. You can just carry your cell phone with you as you walk and it does a fairly good job of calculating everything for you. Good luck!
PS - I've lost all my weight just by walking and riding my bike. You can do it!0 -
I don't have a fitbit either - just a pedometer. I just track the old school way - minutes walked and whatever pace I walk (for me, usually pretty slow - 2.0 to 2.5 mph).0

you can use Runtastic if you have a smartphone but for just step counting its hard to beat fitbit. I also like the Aria wifi scale from fit bit. both devices will sync with MFP well.0

Wow!! Thank you!! It's so great to know I'm not alone in this journey. Yes, I have a smart phone and I will be downloading an app or two today.
