I love popcorn but am working on cutting down on butter. I would seriously put a whole stick on there if left to my own devices...
What are your favorite much more healthy toppings?

oh man this is my jam. I don't swear any of these to be SUPER healthy, but they are relatively low calorie, for me and my goals.
Parmesan cheese
splenda and cinnamon and nutmeg and ginger
ramen noodle flavor packet (if you're going to tell me this is high sodium--I'm aware)
ranch dressing seasonings, either packaged or homemade
tbsp of chocolate chips
furikake
soy sauce and wasabi powder0 -
Slightly less butter or margarine....
If I have popcirn I am going to enjoy it! If not butter, then a seasoning powder for popcorn like dill pickle, ketchup or nacho.0 -
Butter. And salt.
Maybe a popcorn seasoning.
Honestly, popcorn just isn't worth it if it doesn't taste good. And if it doesn't have butter (or oil) then the flavour won't stick.
I'm biased though. Popcorn has felt like a waste of time to me for my whole life. Chips are where it's at lol.0 -
Kernels Popcorn Seasoning - Ranch is my favorite
Nacho Cheese is 2nd (I change it up w/chili powder sometimes)
KettleCorn seasoning was too bland so I add cinnamon or cocoa powder.0 -
I still use a little bit of butter. But I melt it and mix in some brown sugar and cinnamon. I also like Cajun spice or Chili powder and cumin on my popcorn.0

I Can't Believe it's Not Butter spray along with salt. Not as good as butter, but it's low cal and pretty good!0

those popcorn seasonings.. i think they are kernal brand? I love the cheddar and white cheddar, ranch, garlic parm, kettle, and caramel. so good pretty low cal for a serving.0

Just salt. Or salt and paprika. Or cinnamon and a bit of sugar.
But then again, I hate the taste of butter. So, not adding butter to pop corn, for me immediately improves the taste0 -

1. Hot sauce like Tapatillo!
2. Meat seasoning (Sooo good, also on steamed broccoli)
3. Parmesan Cheese
4. Cinnamon and splenda
But my favorite is definitely the hot sauce one

Cajun seasoning! It's one of my favorites. Also, if you are craving the butter, there is a 5 cal substitute out there Butter buds. Taste great.0

My fav is a packet of splenda and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
Or chili powder.0 -
I'd rather have some sunflower seeds. the popcorn is a waste of my precious calories.0

This is totally not healthy, but if you are looking for a treat - maybe on a cheat day or when you want to fit in something delicious into your calorie count: Dulce de Leche, slightly warmed and then drizzled over popcorn. My boyfriend and I can demolish this easily and split between us, it's 200 calories or so (depend on the popcorn we buy).0

Just salt usually works for me. But when I want a little more:
J&Ds Bacon salt
Furikake (favorites):
nori komi furikake
ebi fumi furikake
wasabi fumi furikake
Or just:
sriracha

I hear you but popcorn is pretty filling for relatively few calories. I'd have to eat a ton of sunflower seeds to get the same effect0 -
