I am desperate for quick, but healthy breakfast ideas, for my 2 teenage daughters and myself. We do eat healthy, but would really appreciate some new and fresh ideas!!

I really like overnight oats. Old fashioned oats (right out of the box) are mixed with milk, yogurt, or water and left to sit in the fridge overnight. Next morning, add a spoon and go. Lots of lovely things can be added: dried, fresh, or frozen fruit, nuts or nut butters, seeds, pumpkin, cocoa powder, cinnamon, at night or right before eating.

It's not for everyone, but I personally love morning smoothies! If you have time the night before you can whip up a batch for all three of you! I'm assuming you're looking for something to grab and go for school/work? The easiest thing for me is to prep everything ahead of time as much as possible, ex. Make a batch of muffins on the weekend and freeze them. Defrost the night before. Or put everything in your fridge that you know you want to eat in the morning; pull out your bread and peanut butter for example. I think an important factor is just planning things out when you're short on time.

My new favorite thing is a whole wheat one bun (100 calories) with some natural sugar/salt free peanut butter and thinly sliced apple or other fruit. Really yummy :) You can make ahead and if you cut in half you have about a 120 calorie refueling snack.

I make a spinach, mushroom, cottage cheese and parmesan fritata on Sunday, cut it into chunks and heat it up in the morning.
